Two US Army defense contractors met me in a secret location in America to discuss what it’s like to go work for the government on foreign soils. They both work as contractors in stations all over the world and they gave a first hand account of how much waste goes into our imperialism. It was an interesting look into the life of a hired grunt in the middle of a war zone.

Sarah Tiana invited me over to her apartment to give me the follow up to our last conversation. Don’t listen to this one without listening to episode 73, on which this is based. She’s doing a lot better now. Time and information has helped.

The Music

Pink has some sick songs. I know I’m not supposed to like her, but I do.

Sex Pistols

I love this version. Cake is one of the most underrated bands of the last 20 years. Even their B-sides are good.

Sea Change is an amazing breakup album. Just amazing. I heard it’s about his relationship with Winona Ryder. He said he couldn’t write about it for years afterwards because it still hurt too much. And when he was finally able to start expressing it, this is what he came up with.
