While I was in New York, I stopped by my friend Kurt Metzger’s apartment to talk about his religious upbringing and his rejection of that life. Kurt has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about all this junk, so it was great to get him ranting about it. If you’ve never seen his standup, it’s amazing. He tours about as much as the Beatles now, so if you want to see him, you probably have to be in Manhattan. He usually plays at the Comedy Cellar. And finding him online is nearly impossible. I suggest subscribing to his Facebook feed, because he gets angry on there a lot.
Here’s the Michael Jackson bit we were talking about.
And here’s his set from Ferguson earlier this year. He stayed with me when he was here doing it because the Late Late Show would only cover one day of hotel for him. While he was here he smoked more medical marijuana than anyone I’ve ever seen. He has a crazy tolerance. If you ever see him, offer him weed. I guarantee he will love it. Tell him it’s because of this podcast.
Also, I forgot to take a picture of the two of us together for the website and there’s nothing online of us both so I asked some people on Twitter to photoshop something of the two of us together. That one on top is one of those. I’m gonna share with you some of my other favorites, culminating in the best one, some sort of amalgamation of the two of us in one face. It’s pretty hot. I also like how everyone used the same ridiculous picture of Kurt making that weird jagged shit log face.
And here’s the coup de grace. Try not to beat off to it.

Sam Tripoli stops by the Deathsquad studios to tell me about his uncanny ability to get women to have sex with him. Sam isn’t an ugly guy, but he is overweight and he is an Armenian, which are two things working against him. It’s always amazed me how he can get women to do things for which their fathers would disown them.
This will be the last episode of Ari Shaffir’s Skeptic Tank that will be broadcast on the Deathsquad Podcast Network. After this, all the episodes will be available under it’s own name on iTunes, Stitcher, and on my website. All the other Deathsquad shows are still going strong, so just continue to subscribe to those the same way, using the iTunes link provided here, or by searching for them under Deathsquad or by going directly to Deathsquad.tv.
Sam runs the second funnest show in Los Angeles (after my This Is Not Happening storyteller show) call the Naughty Show. It happens monthly in Los Angeles (usually at the Improv) and it’s amazing. I call it the modern variety show. It’s managed to update all that stupid innuendo that the old versions of variety shows used. Here’s a clip of something I did for one of the shows. He got Rowdy Roddy Piper to come beat me up to defend the honor of Dana Dearmond. It was featured on TMZ but they thought it was real so they didn’t really get it.
