Hormoz Rashidi met me at the LA bungalow I was staying in while I was recording the next season of This Is Not Happening and he tried explaining to me all the histories of the middle east and our current involvement there. I don’t know what Hormoz’s background is, but he’s real knowledgable about the whole region and this conversation really opened my eyes up to a way of thinking really plainly about the individuals involved in getting the US to go over there. It’s the way I like thinking about almost every subject and I’m glad I finally got to do it about the middle east.

Get tickets to my hour at the Comedy Store on Thursday.

Get tickets to my hour at the Comedy Store on Thursday.

I used to seat customers at the Comedy Store. For years. Before that I answered the phones. And in between I worked there selling tickets, building the website, waiting tables, mopping up vomit, assisting the talent coordinator, driving around the owner, and anything else they’d have me do in return for 3 minutes of stage time on Mondays. 3 minutes. Now I’m back. I recorded my last special there called Paid Regular and on Thursday, I’m presenting my new hour of material that I’ve built since that special. And since I’m a Jew my hour is gonna be about 75 minutes. It’s really solid. And it’s only $10. So why not come? Bring a couple good friends. Bring a nug to the doorguy to get tomorrow’s best comedians high today. And have some great laughs.

Big Jay Oakerson and I went up to a buddy’s rooftop in New York and talked about garbage music while we looked into people’s windows hoping to find some action. Jay has the worst taste in music. He likes all my least favorite bands. So we talked about that a little. But we also got majorly sidetracked as we started seeing a bunch of interesting stuff in the windows. I also talk a lot about Bonnaroo in the intro and outro.
